Initial Comprehensive Intake
Service Description
Parent/caregiver meets 1-1 with the psychologist to review comprehensive history and symptoms, to discuss treatment appropriateness and fit, to discuss treatment approach, and to begin to generate a diagnosis and treatment plan. The Initial Comprehensive Intake is a one-time session of approximately 45-55 minutes conducted once each time treatment is initiated/resumed (if there is an extended break). Depending on the complexities of your child's history, we will schedule additional parents meeting(s) post-intake session to achieve our goals of gathering information and discussing treatment planning. If seeking medical setting anxiety training, the comprehensive intake visit is optional, depending on how personalized you would like the training to be. $250 per session Dr. Dahl does not file insurance claims on behalf of her patients but she can provide the forms necessary for you to file for reimbursement. Dr. Dahl is considered "out of network" for all insurance providers.
